Yes, renters’ insurance is required before you move in at the property. You can either go through our preferred insurance company, ResidentShield, or use your own third-party insurance. We do have requirements for the insurance policy. These requirements will be sent to you prior to move-in.
At Vida Apartments, we do a criminal background check and credit check on all applicants at the property. We have a pass or fail system through our third-party screening company that links with our property management software. There are times where we will accept conditional approval with additional deposit. Please contact the leasing office for more information.
Yes, you must sign a lease agreement with a guarantor if you do not meet the monthly income requirement. Guarantors are required to make 4 times the monthly rental amount at Vida Apartments. Please contact the leasing office for more information.
Once someone applies, expect 3-5 business days on the approval of the rental application.
We offer 6, 9, and 12-month lease terms. A lease shorter than 12 months will have a premium price per month. Your leasing professional can go over the available lease terms.
This information is covered in the lease agreement. Per the lease, we require a 60-day notice to vacate in writing. The termination fee is 2 times the monthly rent. This amount is due before you move out. Please keep in mind that you are still responsible for your rental payments and utilities until the 60-days is up. Please contact the leasing office for more details.
The resident is responsible for electricity and internet/cable on their own. Electricity is through Ameren and your internet provider will be AT&T Fiber. We will need your Ameren account number before moving in.
Parking is first come, first serve and there is no additional fee. We do not assign parking at Vida Apartments. Garages are available to lease are $125 per month.
Yes, we allow pets with breed restrictions. We do only allow 2 pets per apartment unless authorized in writing. Once someone applies, we use a third-party pet screening company for details on your animal. There is a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $300. There is monthly pet rent of $25 per pet each month.
Certain types of pets cannot be permitted - these include any wild, exotic, endangered, or poisonous animals or reptiles. In addition, the following aggressive-type dog breeds are not permitted:
Fish tanks shall not exceed 20 gallons and must be properly supported.

Yes, we are conveniently located close to many shopping and dining establishments. Close by there is a Walmart, Aldi, Schnucks, Kohl’s, multiple gas stations, and other many other restaurants/dining Redbirds, Vette’s, MadDog, and more. We are one exit away from Mid-Rivers Mall Drive too!
